Funeral
You can select and call your funeral service. Contact information can be found in the Yellow Pages. The funeral service will remove the deceased’s body and will take all the remaining copies of the Deceased’s Examination Certificate. Employees of the funeral service will inform you where to go and when (in the following couple of days) to arrange the funeral. Some funeral services will arrange everything with you on the spot – if you are interested in such service ask about it when you call them. You will need your identity card and also an identity card and birth certificate of the deceased person, because the funeral service can (if you wish) arrange the death certificate for you at the Register Office.
Apart from the organizational activities around the funeral, there will now come the time of loneliness, solitude, tiredness and mourning. During this time it is a good idea to ask for help from people who have had a similar experience. Do not be afraid to ask experts and find suitable literature. In some places there are mourner support groups where a person can express mourning more easily than with those they do not wish to burden with their pain.
